League of Legends is definitely the best examples of a Multiplayer Online Battle Game. A real-time game designed and developed by Riot Games. The designers of this game adopted and altered certain concepts that made Defense of the Ancient a global success.

The game is inspired by Warcraft 3, but it is truly unique and innovative and it is easy to learn and master all the tricks of the game, especially if you are a beginner.

Backstory

Centuries ago, there lived a race of creatures as ferocious as they were wise. The brackern were unusual beings blessed with the earth’s primal magic, embodied in the form of crystals. Their kind knew of an arcane ritual to bind their life’s essence to a crystal, communing with the magic embedded in it. With this power, the brackern thrived in the Odyn Valley, protecting both creatures and crystals alike. Despite attacks from those looking to claim the primal magic, it seemed that nothing could get past the brackern’s defenses. Nothing, that is, until the devastation of a Rune War.

A vicious battle was fought near the Odyn Valley and the unleashed chaotic magic poisoned the crystals. The brackern began to grow sick and die, and no amount of defensive magic could reverse the effects. To avoid extinction, their only course was to hibernate underground until the wars stopped. The strongest, most intelligent brackern hibernated closer to the surface to awaken first and assess the world’s condition for the return of their race. The recent mining operations and violent escalation in Kalamanda were enough to awaken the first of these vanguards.

When Skarner burst to the surface, he lashed out in anger and confusion. Reason eventually won out over his anger when he realized that the agents of the League who found him were simply functionaries. Skarner was invited to the Institute of War to share the brackern’s story. In return, the summoners told him about the history that his kind had slept through. Much had been done to curb the unchecked use of magic since the Rune Wars, but it was obvious that the world was not yet safe for his kind to reawaken. For now, however, there is a place where Skarner can use his power to change the world into one to which his kind could eventually return: the League of Legends.

Abilities

Crystallizing Sting

Crystal Slash and  Fracture build stacks of  Crystal Venom on the target enemy, stacking up to 3 times.

If Skarner attacks an enemy at 3 stacks, the stacks are consumed and his attack is modified to deal 15 + (5 × Skarner’s level) (+ 100% AD) magic damage and stun the target for 0.5 / 0.75 / 1seconds. After the stun, targets cannot receive Crystal Venom stacks for a few seconds.

Crystal Slash

ACTIVE: Skarner deals physical damage to all enemies within range.

Hitting an enemy will charge himself with  Crystal Energy for 5 seconds and stacking up to 3 times, granting bonus attack speed and movement speed and causing subsequent casts to deal bonus magic damage while these stacks persist.

Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of Crystal Slash by 0.5 seconds (doubled against enemy champions).

Crystalline Exoskeleton

ACTIVE: Skarner shields himself for up to 6 seconds.

While the shield persists, Skarner gains bonus movement speed that increases over the next 3 seconds.

Fracture

ACTIVE: Skarner deals magic damage to all enemies in a line and  slows them for 2.5 seconds.

Impale

ACTIVE: Skarner rears his stinger, rooting his target for 0.25seconds as he brings his stinger down, dealing magic damage and  suppressing it for 1.75 seconds. At the end of the suppression, the target takes the same damage again.

For the duration, Skarner can move freely and drag his victim around with him but cannot attack the victim. Impale consumes all  Crystal Venom stacks to deal bonus magic damage per stack.

Strategy

A good choice would be to go into the jungle, as his skills are ideally suited to farm small groups of monsters and gank line.
One of the most important tasks is to monitor crystals and key jungle areas.
With getting his Ultimate ability Skarner becomes an important team member that can easily kill almost every enemy 1 by 1.

In the middle of the game is very important to control crystals next to the Dragon. Your main task is to gank single opponents.
In the late game Skarner does not lose relevance. He does good damage and has a high level of protection. Remember that at this point in the game your main task is to initiate a fight.

Lee Sin is one of the best junglers in LoL. With only 1 red buff he can start to hunt you.

Shaco can pass wards and suddenly attack you when you least expect it.

Backstory 

Aatrox is a legendary warrior, one of only five that remain of an ancient race known as the Darkin. He wields his massive blade with grace and poise, slicing through legions in a style that is hypnotic to behold. With each foe felled, Aatrox’s seemingly living blade drinks in their blood, empowering him and fueling his brutal, elegant campaign of slaughter.

The earliest tale of Aatrox is as old as recorded history. It tells of a war between two great factions remembered only as the Protectorate and the  Magelords. Over time, the Magelords won a series of crushing victories, leaving them on the brink of obliterating their sworn enemy forever. On the day of their final confrontation, the Protectorate army found themselves outnumbered, exhausted, and poorly equipped. They braced for inevitable defeat.

Just when all hope seemed lost, Aatrox appeared among the ranks of the Protectorate. With but a few words, he urged the soldiers to fight to the last before throwing himself into battle. His presence inspired the desperate warriors. At first, they could only watch in awe as this unknown hero cleaved through their enemies, his body and blade moving in unison as if one being. Soon, the warriors found themselves imbued with a potent thirst for battle. They followed Aatrox into the fray, each fighting with the furious strength of ten until they had won a most unlikely victory.

Aatrox vanished after that battle, but the Protectorate army’s newfound fury did not. Their surprising triumph led to many more until they were able to finally return home victorious. Their countrymen hailed them as heroes, but though they had saved their entire civilization from destruction, darkness lingered in the mind of each warrior. Something within them had changed. Over time, their memories of battle faded, only to be replaced with a grim revelation: their acts of heroism were, in fact, brutal atrocities committed by their own hands.

Tales like these appear among the myths of many cultures. If they are all to be believed, Aatrox’s presence has changed the course of some of the most important wars in history. Though these stories remember him as a savior in dark times, Aatrox’s true legacy may be a world filled with conflict and strife.

Abilities

Blood Well

-Whenever  consumes a portion of his health, he stores it into his Blood Well, which can hold up to 105 – 870 (based on level) health. The Blood Well depletes by 2% per second if Aatrox hasn’t dealt or received damage in the last 5 seconds.

 gains 0.3 – 0.55 (based on level)% bonus attack speed for every 1% in his Blood Well, up to a maximum of 30 – 55 (based on level)% bonus attack speed.

Upon taking fatal damage,  is cleansed of all debuffs, enters  stasis and drains his Blood Well, healing himself for 35% of Blood Well’s maximum capacity over the next 3 seconds for 36.75 – 304.5 (based on level) health (+ 100% of Blood Well’s stored health) up to a maximum of 141.75 – 1174.5 (based on level) health.

Dark Flight

–  dashes to the target area after a brief delay, dealing physical damage to nearby units upon landing and  knocking up all units in the epicenter for 1 second.

Blood Thirst / Blood Price

TOGGLE OFF – BLOOD THIRST:  heals himself on-hit. While Aatrox is below 50% maximum health, heal is tripled.

TOGGLE ON – BLOOD PRICE:  consumes a portion of his health to deal quadruple its health cost as bonus on-hit physical damage.

Blades of Torment

ACTIVE:  unleashes two converging energy waves in the target direction, dealing magic damage to all units hit and  slowing them by 40%.

Massacre

ACTIVE:  draws in the blood of his foes, dealing magic damage to nearby enemy champions and filling his  Blood Well by 20% of its maximum value for each enemy champion hit.

Strategy

 simple enough (in terms of mechanics) and an interesting character, which can go both on the top / mid, and in the jungle. In other words – Aatrox very multifaceted character, so for him there are many different builds, but in this guide I will discuss is the standard build, which is suitable for the lines, and for the jungle.

At the beginning of the game when you’re standing on the lane, you should wait until your opponent uses any skill and yet these skills on his cd – jump on it the Q, E, and slow down and autoattack him with your Passive on the damage. After that switch the Passive Mode to heal and beat the creeps.

In teamfights always try to attack the carry – your damage completely allows you to do it. Try to not start the battle with Dark Flight – with this power you can catch fleeing enemies. Your ally should initiate fight, and you should only follow him

 Pluses

  • Well opposed to most heroes in solo battles.
  • Perfect Passive, which essentially gives second life.
  • Excellent ability to control groups of enemies at once.
  • The ability to easily and quickly heal the farm.
  • Skills do not consume mana.

Minuses

  • Most of the delay on the use of skills in the beginning of the game.
  • Ability Dark Flight can be interrupted by some control skills, if used in time.
  • It’s hard enough to withstand the heroes with ranged attacks.
